VPN Setup Guide for Beginners

Activate a plan first, then import your subscription into a client. Follow the steps below; there’s no need to learn about protocols or server settings first.

account · No email required

Create an account and save your login details

Click “Free Trial” below to open the VPNYG user panel’s account creation page. No email address is required; just choose a username and password. You’ll use your username to sign in later. Choose a unique password and save it in a trusted password manager. Before submitting, check your details—especially the letters, numbers, and capitalization in your username—to avoid login issues later.

After submitting, follow the on-screen instructions to access your account. If you’re taken to the login page, sign in with the username and password you saved. If the panel opens directly, continue to the next step. Creating an account doesn’t activate a plan or connect a client. You’ll still need to confirm your plan status, get your subscription, and enable the connection on your device. These are separate steps.

If the username is unavailable, change it as instructed and try again. If your login details don’t match, check your keyboard settings, spaces, and the account saved in your password manager. Don’t keep creating new accounts to troubleshoot the same issue; orders and subscriptions could end up in different accounts, making them harder to track.

billing · Check data and billing period

Choose a plan and review your order

After signing in, open the plans page and decide whether you’ll use the service regularly or only occasionally. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Data packages are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB; they never expire and remain available until used. The difference is how billing and data work—not the number of devices. “Unlimited devices” does not mean unlimited data.

Choose based on your browsing, work, and streaming habits; you don’t need to pick a larger plan just because you have more devices. VPNYG has no device limit, but data used across the same account is combined. If you use the service regularly, check whether the monthly allowance is enough. If your usage varies, consider whether a data package suits your needs. See the plans page for full pricing and terms.

Once you’ve chosen a plan, check the amount, data allowance, and billing method shown in your order. Pay using the Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT option provided in the panel. After payment, return to your account and confirm the order and plan status; a redirect from the payment page alone doesn’t confirm activation. If the order is still pending, check its details before trying to pay again. VPNYG offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for how to request a refund.

If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is converted into remaining days; don’t recalculate it as a full month. When getting started, verify your current plan and connection before making upgrades or other changes. This makes troubleshooting easier.

subscription · Get it from the panel

Get your subscription and prepare to import it

Once your plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel and look for the subscription, copy link, or client import option. The subscription link lets a client retrieve the server configurations available to your account. It isn’t an app installer or a website to visit regularly in your browser. Decide which device and client you’ll use, then choose an import method offered in the panel.

If the panel offers an import option for your installed client, follow the prompts to open it. Your browser may ask permission to open an external app; check the app name before continuing. If it doesn’t open automatically, or you haven’t installed a client yet, copy the subscription link and paste it manually after installing the client in the next step. Use the panel’s copy button when available to avoid missing any part of the link.

Your subscription link is account information. Don’t share it in public forums, tutorial screenshots, or shared documents. If you need to provide a screenshot for troubleshooting, hide the full link and your account details. Don’t paste the link into unfamiliar conversion sites; use the client and import options provided in the panel. This guide doesn’t include a real subscription address. Get yours from the panel after signing in.

If no subscription is available in the overview, check that you’re signed in to the account used for payment and that the order is complete. Don’t use someone else’s configuration in place of your own subscription. If checking your account and order doesn’t resolve the issue, contact support through a user panel ticket.

clients · Setup by device

Install a client and import your configuration

Open the downloads section in the user panel and choose the VPNYG client for your device’s operating system. You can download the Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients after signing in; you don’t need a paid plan to download them. You’ll need an active plan to use a subscription. Check the panel for iOS download eligibility. The steps below apply to clients that support subscription-link imports; menu names may vary by app.

Windows: Add a subscription and enable the configuration

Download the Windows client from the panel, follow the installation prompts, and open the app. Look for an add option under “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or a similar section. Choose import from link, paste the subscription address you copied, and save it. If the panel offers direct import, try that first, then check that the configuration appears in the client. Installing the app alone doesn’t add your subscription.

After importing, update the subscription and wait for the server list to appear. Select the imported configuration as the one to use. If you see older configurations, check their names to make sure you’ve selected the new one. Follow the client’s instructions to enable the system proxy or another connection mode. When your system first asks for permission, check the app’s source and purpose before allowing it.

macOS: Handle installation permissions and subscriptions separately

Choose the macOS client in the panel’s downloads section and select the appropriate installer based on your device and the download page’s instructions. When you open the app, macOS may ask you to confirm that it can run or add a network configuration. Check that it’s the client you just downloaded, then follow the on-screen instructions. If macOS blocks the app, check the relevant message in System Settings. Don’t disable system-wide security protections just to continue the installation.

Once the app opens normally, go to the subscription or configuration page, add your subscription link, and update it. When the server list appears, select a configuration and enable the connection. Installation, network permissions, and subscription import are separate steps; an incomplete step can prevent access. If a permission prompt keeps appearing, see the macOS setup guide for more checks.

Android: Allow the network connection after importing

Get the Android client from the panel and follow the system’s installation prompts. If Android asks you to allow installation from the current source, grant permission only for this download as needed. Don’t download files with the same name from unfamiliar mirrors in search results. Open the client, find the add or import-from-link option under configuration or subscription, paste the full subscription address, save it, and update.

When the server list appears, select a configuration and enable the connection. If Android asks to set up a VPN connection, check that the app name matches the client you just installed before allowing it. For the first test, keep the app in the foreground and confirm that both the connection and access to your target website work. Then check whether it stays connected in the background. If it disconnects only in the background, review the app’s background activity and battery restrictions in system settings.

iOS: Check download eligibility first

Open the iOS option in the panel’s downloads section. Whether a download link is available depends on the eligibility shown in the panel. If an active paid plan is required, complete the plan setup steps first. Don’t use installation files for other platforms on iOS, and don’t guess the app name or download address from third-party pages.

Install the client as instructed in the panel, then use the matching import option if available. To import manually, look in the app for subscription, configuration, or import from URL. Paste and save the link, update it, and check that the server list appears. When enabling the connection, allow the VPN configuration prompt after checking the client name, then return to the app to check its status. If the panel can’t open the app, copy the link again and import it manually from within the client.

verify · Check status and access

Connect to a server and verify it works

After the subscription updates successfully, choose a server from the current configuration and connect as prompted by the client. For your first session, use the client’s default mode and avoid changing several network settings at once. Check that the client shows a connected status and that any required network permissions are granted, then open the website you want to use in your browser. A server appearing in the list, a successful subscription update, and an active network connection are separate statuses.

To verify access, open a regular webpage first, then the service you want to use. Try a real action, such as loading content or submitting a normal request. Reaching a login page doesn’t mean every feature is available. Likewise, an account or regional restriction from a service doesn’t necessarily mean the subscription import failed. AI tools and streaming services apply their own account, regional, and content licensing rules. A VPNYG subscription doesn’t include memberships to those platforms.

If no webpages load, disconnect and check that your device’s regular internet connection works, then reconnect. If the internet works before connecting but not afterward, check your plan status, subscription update time, selected configuration, and system proxy settings in that order. To try another server, leave other settings unchanged and switch only the server, then test again. Don’t run multiple proxy clients at the same time; their connection settings may conflict.

Once connected, check your usage in the account overview and note your data allowance and billing period. Monthly plans reset each month on your activation date; data packages never expire and remain available until used. There’s no device limit, but usage across all devices still counts toward your account’s data allowance. If server details change later, update your subscription first rather than creating a new account. For advanced modes, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, see the complete user guide.

If you still need help, open a support ticket and include your device’s operating system, client name, the step where the issue occurred, and the error message. Saying whether “the import failed” or “the client connected but the website wouldn’t load” is more helpful than just saying it doesn’t work. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your subscription link, password, and sensitive payment details.
